In Shakespeare's "The Tempest," the character Caliban is described as a "savage and deformed slave." But, Caliban also has a softer side, one capable of uttering some of the most beautiful lines in the play. Feeling connected to Caliban, I would like to be among the Calibans of the world. As Caliban said: "Be not afeard, the isle is full of noises,/Sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not."

Trouble Unleashed
I threatened to get a new computer last weekend. What was I thinking! It is proudly sitting on my desk waiting for me to use it. Trouble is, it doesn't do anything to make the writing process any easier. You will be able to see my progress based on the number of mistakes I make or the assinine statements for which I apologize profusely. But I know the answer to the problem Unfortunately, I can't tell or the spirit of Miss Bosley will come and get me.
